Isabella’s Global Week of Prayer Story

Isabella, an 18-year-old from Kings Community Church in Bangor, Northern Ireland, felt God calling her to “be strong and courageous” – and so she got involved with running her church’s prayer room for the Global Week of 24-7 Prayer! Hear her talk about her experience: This was her church’s very first prayer room – and the community, young and old, loved it! “Children were coming and engaging in prayer, which was so encouraging!” And, significantly, this week of prayer has been a catalyst – now Isabella’s church is intentional about setting up prayer spaces and weaving prayer into everything they do. “Over the summer we saw almost a thousand people on their knees praying for revival, and that’s continued.” Isabella’s final reflection is that – “I’ve learnt how to lead as a servant of Christ.” What an amazing story! Last weekend, a bunch of our 24-7 Prayer national teams celebrated Pentecost at festivals across nations and denominations, and we’re celebrating the beautiful and powerful testimonies of the Holy Spirit at work… In Spain In Spain, creatives from across Europe, Mexico, the USA and Argentina joined together at CREO Fest, to explore the power of prayer and creativity, with a tangible sense of the Spirit at work. In the morning, 40 people – mostly young adults – filled the room in attentive silence to listen to Lectio 365 – 24-7 Prayer’s daily devotional app – together, with one man in his fifties walking out visibly emotional, saying: “I can’t believe this… a room full of young people praying together like this.” Throughout the festival, worship, conversations, creative workshops and spontaneous moments of prayer flowed naturally together. 84 Nations Unite in Praying for Peace

In response to increasing instability and violence in many regions, with the escalation of war in the Middle East adding fresh urgency to our prayers, we interrupted our schedules to pray more intentionally for our world. From 16–22 March 2026 we invited the global Church into a week of prayer for peace. As part of this week of prayer, 24-7 Prayer ran an unbroken, 24-hour live prayer meeting. The prayer meeting ran from East to West, beginning Wednesday 18 March at 7am New Zealand time (6pm GMT Tuesday 17th) and continuing for a full 24 hours. Each hour was a guided time of prayer, led by our National Leaders from around the globe as we pray for peace. We organised this at short notice, and we were humbled to have thousands of people from 84 different nations joining the call in a beautiful symbol of unity and compassion.
