    747SP c/n: 21961 VP-BLK is FOR SALE The VIP configured Boeing 747SP VP-BLK with c/n 21961 is listed as FOR SALE since March 3, 2026 on globalplanesearch.com . This particular aircraft started with TWA back in 1980 but after only 5 years United Arab Emirates bought the aircraft and registered it A6-SMR. It has been with Las Vegas Sands Corporation as VP-BLK since 2007 flying in high rollers into their casinos. It is now listed with 6,650 Air frame Landings which shows the VIP routing as it was listed with 6275 landings back in 2010. For sale at Global Plane search Global Plane Search added the listing on March 3 2026 for this beautiful VIP aircraft.     Pratt & Whitney currently have 747SP C-GTFF at MZJ for temporary storage. One of the last operators of the beautiful 747SP is Pratt & Whitey Canada. They have 2 aircraft in their fleet. C-FPAW (21934) and C-GTFF (22484) who are used as flying testbeds for new engines. C-GTFF was flewn to MZJ and was seen in January of 2025 in storage conditions. Photo by Barry Eckel on Flickr. Pratt & Whitney usually fly their 747SP’s to MZJ for maintenance, but this time C-GTFF was flown to MZJ for a temporary storage as the Pratt & Whitney hangar in Montreal is getting a well deserved overhaul. The weather in Arizona is better for storage than the Canadian weather in Montreal. So She will be back in the air in a couple of months.
