    The layering trench is a big trend for spring! If you already have a trenchcoat in your closet, time to pull it out and dust it off! If not, I have linked two fun options for $60 (this one from Gap Factory and this faux suede one from H&M). Layer your trenchcoat over your sweats or loungewear to instantly look more polished (it looks especially cute to wear a hoodie style sweatshirt under a trench).     I would have to say that hands down, running is my favorite form of exercise. I run (well, jog) almost every day, even in Tahoe in the winter (I wear Yak Trax on my running shoes so I don’t slip on the ice and snow). I love that running clears my head, keeps me relatively slim (even drinking wine and eating sweets like they are going out of style all through COVID), gets me out in the fresh air, and doesn’t cost money!     I splurged on these Isabel Marant sneakers over the holidays. They have a built in hidden wedge that makes you a little bit taller! I am 5’6″ but I always love to get that extra bit of elongating height! Plus, they have velcro fastening which makes for easy on and off. I am tempted to get this pair as well by Zadig & Voltaire – they also have a hidden wedge, plus a zip fastening so you don’t have to bother with laces! And right now the Isabel Marant look is more accessible and achievable than ever! With designer purchases lagging due to COVID, there are so many great Isabel Marant pieces marked way down.     Pullover: Isabel Marant| Jeans: H&M | Boots: Schutz | Bag: Boyy (last season) I thought I was over logo-mania (the trend over the past couple of years where designer logos are splashed out all over the clothes)! But somehow this Isabel Marant “Klowia” pullover was a must-have for me. The Klowia is a fine-knit sweater, but I also LOVE the sweatshirt version (the “Milly” and the “Moby” ones) and am debating ordering one of them too! With its platform lug sole, chunky silhouette, taller shaft and smooth black leather, this is the boot silhouette that is everywhere this fall. It is available at every price point so if you want to try the trend for less, you can do what I did which was buy a faux leather version (great for the rain).
