Good afternoon, For employment verification purposes, I am trying to confirm that Dmitry Nadgorny served as a Portfolio Manager at Midgal Research LLC between March 2010 and April 2021 and as a Portfolio Manager at Algo Engineering LLC between January 2007 and March 2010. I can email Nadgorny’s signed authorization form, if needed. I was unable to find any authoritative website for Midgal Research LLC, only the personal website for Alexander Midgal.

In reply to Laurence . I remember our time as well, with nostalgia and tenderness. I’m in Abu Dhabi now, closer than you think. Do you use ML in your predictions? This is something I know very well and can help if needed.

My dear old friend! I just stumbled accidentally into your wonderful website a few moments ago. I couldn’t sleep, thinking about a problem I’ve been working on for the past couple of months. Alas, despite my enthusiasm, I’m still stuck, but veré, very close to a solution. Perhaps today I will find the solution! I pretty much left physics, and MIT, in 1989, 34 years ago! Also an accident: I gave a talk on my ideas and hypotheses about “sudden” cardiac death, at a small cardiology conference in Zürich, invited by one of my physicist friends at ETH. I argued that there was nothing sudden about it, and that it should be predictable given the right data. As luck would have it, one of the cardiologists in the audience was extremely impressed, and approached me after my talk. He invitied me to spend a year at his home base, the University Hospital of Zürich, where he was head of research. I acc

Hi Sasha, I wonder if you remember me. We met when I was at Thinking Machines and later when Steve Adler’s student John Weckel defended his thesis at Princeton. Both you and I were on his thesis committee. After the defense you showed me your new company and offered me a job to help with marketing. I regret that I did not take you up on that. Instead, I went to work for IBM Research in Yorktown and left in 2006 to become a biologist which I still am. I am now a Professor at Rutgers University working with clinical researchers on improving treatment outcomes using genomics and genetics. More recently I have been working on Covid Epidemiology. We still live in Princeton. I see that you are doing well and going strong with research. Best Wishes for much success ! Gyan Bhanot
