- Wolstton – Mirovia
Sep 22, 2026 · original
Introduction This is a review of the Mirovia compostable capsules made by Wolstton from Madrid Spain for use in the Nespresso Original Line machines (or compatible like Mitlon Coffee machines). The Mirovia is a coffee blend, is made of beans from Sumatra, Kenya, Galapagos Islands, the island of Palma (Canary Islands), and Papua New Guinea. These are compostable capsules and each box contains 12 capsules. Each capsule contains 6 grams of coffee (which is almost the largest amount for a Nespresso compatible capsule). More details about this coffee are located on Wolstton’s website here . This is a specialty coffee for Nespresso OL machines and is available from Milton Coffee in Georgia. The cost for one box of 12 capsules from Milton Coffee Co. is $25.00 USD, which is about $2.08 USD per capsule, which is very reasonable for high quality specialty coffee. The box made by Wolstton is just b - Artizan – Organic French Vanilla

Introduction This is a review of the Organic French Vanilla compostable coffee capsule for Nespresso Original Line machines made by Artizan coffee out of Florida. Beans used are a robusta from Guatemala and wet hulled arabicas from Indonesia. Also French Vanilla flavoring is added and each capsule contains 95mg of caffeine when brewed. Artizan has labelled this as an intensity 8 coffee. Aromas The Organic French Vanilla has really strong vanilla aromas and the aroma is really nice. The crema is very thin, sparse and dark colored. There are also slight berry (maybe like blueberry) and bread notes. Taste The Artizan Organic French Vanilla is really nice tasting! Even though there are slight vanilla tastes (I think the amount they added in this one is excellent, and not overpowering), you really get those good coffee notes. The taste is like bready, and slight acidity; Possibly tasting like - Kapex – Mt. Apo

Introduction This is a review of the Mt. Apo coffee capsule made by Kapex. This is 100% Philipino single origin coffee from Mount Apo in the Philipines. The beans used are arabicas from Mount Apo. Kapex mentions notes of mild sweetness and citrus tastes. There are 10 capsules per box, and they are a box shape similar to Starbucks by Nespresso boxes. I noticed these capsules are a bit to tall, and when you insert in your machine, they don’t drop down all the way. So I’ve basically pushed the top part down with light pressure to get it to go down properly in the chamber. The used capsule drops with no issues at all. Aromas The Mt. Apo has a thin, sparse and medium colored crema. It has sugar like aromas. Taste The Mt. Apo has a sweet taste in the mouth. It has a nice mild bitterness, almost bready like taste to it. I sense that it is too watery as an espresso and should be brewed as a rist - Kapex – Sagada

Introduction This is a review of the Sagada coffee capsule made by Kapex . This is 100% Philipino single origin coffee from the Cordillera highlands of northern Philippines. The beans used are arabicas. There are 10 capsules per box, and they are a box shape similar to Starbucks by Nespresso boxes. Notes mentioned by Kapex are bittersweet and fruity. Aromas The Sagada has a thick dense and light to medium colored crema. There are really nice flowery/fruity like aromas from the coffee. Taste Wow! The Sagada hits you with a really awesome taste when you first sip it. Both sweet and very light bitter notes. I get bread like tastes, and some type of fruit taste; maybe like guava but can’t really compare it to anything. This is really excellent tasting, possibly an intensity of 7 or 8 on a Nespresso scale. There is really good acidity, but it doesn’t seem intense. I think brewing this as a st - Kapex – Kanlaon

Introduction This is a review of the Kanlaon coffee capsule made by Kapex . This is 100% Philipino single origin coffee from Mount Kanlaon in the Philippines. The beans used are robustas, so there will be more caffeine in these ones. There are 10 capsules per box, and they are a box shape similar to Starbucks by Nespresso boxes, and also the capsules are aluminum. You can find these on Amazon under the name Kapex , and that’s where I got the 4 variety pack from. Notes mentioned by Kapex for this coffee are nutty, chocolate and citrus. Aromas The Kanlaon when extracted as an espresso is a bit watery and probably should be extracted as a ristretto shot. I’m getting slight bread like notes. The crema is thin and light colored. Taste The Kanlaon was woody and spice like notes, and also there is a sweetness to it as well. It’s almost similar to Kazaar. On a different day, I used my god shot t - Making a God Shot on a Nespresso Machine

Introduction This is an article about how to make the perfect coffee (taste, aroma and overall result) on a Nespresso Original Line machine, regardless of whether using either Nespresso or 3rd party capsules. The default result produced by the standard Nespresso machines is really good, but this article will guide you on how to get a much better result and once you figure out how to perform the god shot, you will never return to brewing a capsule the same way. Background I’ve been a regular user on r/nespresso since 2019, the year I bought my first Nespresso machine. I had searched the internet for Nespresso coffee reviews, and literally found almost none (there are only 2 that are any good) that were of any good quality at all. Then I stumbled upon r/nespresso , and there was a lot of users there and also a lot of reviews and information. On r/nespresso I got to know very well a number - Nespresso Nocciola

Introduction This is a review of the Nespresso Barista Creations Nocciola coffee for the Original Line machines, which is part of the Barista Creations series of coffee. According to Nespresso, they say there are notes that are rich & nutty. This is supposed to be a hazelnut flavored coffee. Since this is a Barista Creations coffee. This coffee is intended to be brewed as a Lungo shot and with milk added. Aroma The Nespresso Nocciola coffee has really nice hazelnut and caramel aromas. The crema is dense and light colored. Taste I have to admit, the Nespresso Nocciola coffee has really good hazelnut tastes, even though this is a flavored coffee. I’m quite impressed! I’m not a big fan of flavored coffees, but if I had to get one, then I would probably get this one since it tastes a lot like hazelnut and has a good taste as well. Even though Nespresso suggests brewing this one as a Lungo, I - Segafredo Espresso Ovation

Introduction The Segafredo Zanetti “Espresso Ovation” capsules are an aluminum capsule made in Italy and distributed in the US by Massimo Zanetti out of Suffolk Virginia. The box mentions there is 5.1 grams of coffee per capsule, and also this has notes of tobacco, fruit, and cloves. Although nothing is mentioned about which countries the coffee is from or whether arabicas or robustas are used. Aroma The Espresso Ovation coffee has strong chocolate notes and is very pleasant. The crema is medium light color and is very thin and does not last. Taste I brewed the Espresso Ovation coffee capsule as a ristretto sized pour, since I felt some of the other capsules when brewed as a espresso sized pour were very watery. The Ovation has definite chocolate notes to it, and slight tobacco notes. It is really nice drinking and so far is one of the best Segafredo Zanetti coffees of the bunch.
