  1. Nutsac Mag Satch 11 Review
    Nov 26, 2025 · original
Read Time: 3 Min. One of the best EDC Bags I’ve used this year… This is the Nutsac Mag Satch 11 …Now, before you go and get all squirrelly about the slightly goofy name, let me just say that this bag is no joke! Not only does the Mag Satch 11 bag look fantastic, but it has a lot of great features and top-notch materials as well: The MagSatch 11 features a magnetic closure (hence the name) Full grain leather accents Waxed Canvas (which is one of my favorite fabrics) Heavy-duty YKK Zippers A wide, and very comfortable, adjustable shoulder strap And this bag only gets better looking with age Browse all of Nutsac’s EDC Bags Here Nutsac EDC Bag The Nutsac Bags have gained a lot of attention in the EDC Community as of late, and for good reason. However, for me, I’ve also been super excited about using mine as a minimal woods-bag. There’s just something about a Waxed Canvas “haversack”, like th
  2. Lems Shoes Review
    Nov 26, 2025 · original
Read Time: 8 Min. Original Post Date: July 10, 2023 Updated: December 19, 2023 (Health Update) , January 9th, 2024 (Lems Outlander Boots) , and November 26th, 2025 (Lems Insulated Breck Boots) Lems Shoes Review Foot Health Update In my Lems Shoes Review (see below) , I mention my reasoning for getting into barefoot shoes. And, in short, I am not going back to “normal shoes” after these. I have worn my Lems Shoes exclusively for the past (almost) 6 months and the change has been incredible. Knee Pain is Gone: The knee pain that I mentioned experiencing in my initial review below is gone. I was a bit curious if it was the shoes that made the difference…So, I grudgingly put on a pair of non-minimalist shoes for 1 day and the pain came back. So, I can say with confidence that these Lems Shoes have made a substantial difference. Freedom! The freedom I have felt in the toe-box of my Lems Shoes
  3. Reiff RangeWolf Magnacut Hunting Knife
    Nov 22, 2025 · original
Read Time: 4 Min. Reiff Rangewolf My friends over at Reiff Knives just released the brand new “ Reiff Rangewolf “, a proper Magnacut Hunting Knife that makes a lot of sense within their line-up! So, to kick things off in my discussion about the Reiff Rangewolf , let me give you some information about it, along with my thoughts. Then, I’ll share more about my involvement with this project. Overall Length: 7.12″ Blade Length: 3″ Handle Length: 4.12″ I love that the handle is longer than the blade. This gives a lot of control while using the knife. Blade Steel: CPM MagnaCut (63-64 HRC) This is, without a doubt, the sharpest knife I have ever received from a company. Blade Grind: Full Flat As I mentioned, this knife is scary-sharp. The full-flat grind contributes to making this one of the sliciest hunting knives I’ve ever had in my hands. Weight: 4.5oz Not once have I felt like this knife is
  4. Wuben G5 Review
    Jul 29, 2025 · original
Read Time: 3 Min. Wuben G5 EDC Flashlight I have not changed up my EDC Light very much over the years. However, this year, I have decided to test a few new flashlights, with the Wuben G5 being one of them. This light looked incredible and innovative as soon as I saw it. So, I had to test it out for myself. The biggest selling point about the Wuben G5 was the fact that it packs a ton of my favorite features into one compact package. The feature list, which I will talk about next, is very rare to see in a pocket flashlight. In fact, I typically have to go without certain features, based on the design limitations of other flashlights. See more at WubenLight.com My use for the Wuben G5: EDC Flashlight, and worklight for automotive & home projects. Wuben G5 Features There are a ton of handy features in the Wuben G5 Flashlight . However, I’m going to cover some of my favorites that I look for

I have been quietly working on this project, behind the scenes with Grayl, for a couple of months and am beyond excited to talk about it now. So, let’s dive in and take a quick look at the new Hip Pack and Bottle Sling from Grayl in today’s video… See all of my videos about the new Grayl Bags (below) Pack (above): Grayl Mission Pack 4.5L Pack (above): Grayl Mission Bottle Sling Grayl Mission Bottle Sling with a survival-driven loadout Grayl Bags & Bottle Slings So, here is the skinny about the new Grayl Carry Project : 6 New Hip Packs divided between 2 lines: The “Mission” line includes the maximum amount of pockets & webbing. The “Transport” line is slimmed down for folks who need a sleeker bag. Which one should you choose? Maybe I should do a full video about this? But to put it simply, the Missio

This list could have been MUCH longer…But, I wanted to keep it concise by covering gear that I use most frequently and what I think would be easiest for you to find while you’re doing your holiday shopping. Gift Idea #1: Knives & Knife Accessories Knives are one of my favorite gifts to give and receive. I have

  8. Reiff F3 EDC Fixed Blade Magnacut
    Sep 26, 2024 · original
Read Time: 4 Min. Reiff F3 EDC Fixed Blade At last, I have gotten my hands on the Reiff F3 EDC Fixed Blade ! I have wanted one of these small fixed blades from Reiff Knives since I first handled one at BladeShow 2022. It is a stout little knife that features a 4-finger grip on the handle, a 2.9″ blade, and CPM Magnacut on the blade steel (also available in CPM-3V) . While I’m talking about specifications, let’s take a quick look at the full details of the Reiff Knives F3 and my thoughts… Overall Length: 6.7″ This feels like my beloved Reiff F4 , only shrunken down…and I love that. The ergonomics feel incredible, even though it’s a small knife. Blade Length: 2.9″ / Cutting Edge: 2.65″ I’ve always enjoyed using smaller fixed-blade knives. And the Reiff F3 is no exception. Sure, 2.65″ isn’t a lot of blade edge when compared to its bigger brother (the F6 Leuku ), but you’re not going into th
  9. Vanquest Tekko 4 Sling Bag
    Sep 11, 2024 · original
Read Time: 2 Min. I have been carrying the Vanquest Tekko 4 for quite some time now and I’ve been very happy with it as an EDC Bag! I have also alternated its bigger brother, The Tekko-6 , in and out of my EDC rotation when I need a bit more capacity. Here are some of the high-points about the Vanquest Tekko 4 : As the name suggests: These are tech-driven bags, even though they will accommodate other types of gear. Check out my latest “Whats In My Bag” video here to see what I carry in my Vanquest Tekko 4 . The Vanquest Tekko 4 is incredibly comfortable to carry. The seatbelt material strap is slick so it doesn’t dig into your shoulder…But, the bag design doesn’t allow it to slide around on your body either. This speaks to Vanquest’s ability to make a bag that carry’s well. The materials and build quality are all top-notch on the Tekko 4 and Tekko 6 , which comes as no surprise. Vanquest
  10. Reiff Knives Circadian Clip Point
    Sep 6, 2024 · original
Read Time: 5 Min. It is no secret that one of my favorite premium knife brands is Reiff Knives . I have reviewed several models from their lineup, with the Reiff F4 Scandi being one of my all-time favorite fixed-blade knives. I’m constantly blown away by the knives they are producing. However, up until this point, all of their models have followed the same path from a design standpoint. The blade steel, materials, size, and blade grind may change…But, they all followed the same time-tested & proven design queues. That is, until now. Let’s take a look at something totally new, The Reiff Knives Circadian Clip Point ! Reiff Knives Circadian I have just begun my field testing for this knife and I have a lot of things ahead of me that I cannot wait to try with these 2 knives. But, let’s go ahead and take a peek at the specs for this knife so you can put it on your radar for the upcoming Septe
  11. Reiff F6 Magnacut Review
    Jul 15, 2024 · original
Read Time: 5 Min. Reiff F6 Magnacut Knife The Reiff F6 Magnacut is here! And like its older brother; the F6 in CPM 3V , the newest version is a modern take on a traditional Leuku Knife . What is a Leuku Knife? A “Leuku” knife, by definition, is a “large knife” that features a long, wide blade and a large, comfortable handle. Leuku Knife History: Much of the Leuku’s history can be tied back to the Sami People in Lapland, Finland. If you ever have some time to spare, it is a fascinating bit of history to research. Uses for a Leuku Knife: A Traditional Leuku Knife commonly sees use in the kitchen, around camp, cutting new thatching for rooves…In other words, it is a “do it all” tool for everyday life. How do I like the Reiff F6? My thoughts about the original F6 and the Reiff F6 Magnacut , being reviewed here, will be much the same. So, if you have not done so already, read my Original F6 R
  12. This Marttiini Knife is a hidden gem!
    May 2, 2024 · original
Read Time: 3 Min. Marttiini Knife I was recently browsing for some new knives to test…And I wanted 2 things: A budget-friendly knife and something from a brand that I had never used. With that said, I bought 2 new Marttiini Knives . The Marttiini Knife that you see above is listed as the “ Marttiini Lumberjack “…But, when it came in, the box said Marttiini Kaamos Carbon . Names aside…This knife is awesome! This is a fun carving & bushcraft knife… It fits perfectly with my traditional bushcraft kit that I take out on days when I want to take it slow in the woods. The Marttiini Kaamos Carbon is around $30. Given the affordable price of this Marttiini Knife, it is suitable for almost anyone’s budget. By my estimation, Marttiini Knives are the middle of the line between Helle Knives and Morakniv. They are not as fancy as Helle Knives …But, they do offer a bit more “bells & whistles” than a s
