    Curity has appointed Robert Brundin as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Brundin brings experience from scaling SaaS companies as well as from private equity and will play a key role as Curity continues its international growth. Brundin began his career at PwC and has held senior finance roles across several companies. As CFO at edtech company Urkund, he helped steer the company through a period of rapid growth. Most recently, he worked in the private equity sector, supporting portfolio companies building out their finance functions and processes, and holding interim roles as Head of M&A and CFO.     Curity announces the release of the Curity Identity Server 11.4, introducing an FIPS-compliant mode ahead of the September 21 deadline for the use of FIPS 140-2 validated modules in new federal systems. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will move all remaining FIPS 140-2 certificates to the historical list. Existing deployments can continue using them, but from that date, a FIPS 140-2 validation will no longer meet the requirements for new federal procurement. Anything acquired after that will need an active FIPS 140-3 validation. Beyond federal procurement, FIPS validation is also regularly used as a benchmark for cryptographic assurance in highly regulated environments, including defense, financial services and critical infrastructure.     We’re happy to announce the release of Curity Identity Server 11.2, introducing a major step forward in dynamic authorization and access intelligence. This release brings Token Issuance Authorizers , a new plugin type that enables fine-grained, real-time authorization decisions at token issuance. Policies can now be applied per scope, across all grant types, ensuring consistent authorization each time a scope is issued and allowing access decisions to be based on runtime context rather than static configuration. This makes token issuance more flexible and extensible, enabling integration with external systems and policy sources. The Profiles page in the Admin UI has been redesigned with a table view, search and filtering, making it easier to manage large environments while improving performance.     We are happy to introduce Access Intelligence , a runtime authorization capability built into the Curity Identity Server that gives enterprises real-time control over what AI agents can access and do. The problem Access Intelligence addresses is not identity — it is access. Most enterprise security infrastructure was built around authentication: verifying who is requesting. AI agents, however, are not users. They act across systems, trigger chains of actions and rarely make single requests. Access can't be a one-time decision: every step needs to be evaluated, in real time, based on what the agent is doing at that moment and on whose behalf. This new major version brings first-class support for dynamic, non-persisted OAuth clients - along with managed database schemas, SCIM groups and a rebuilt UI Kit.
